These two cannot...
possibly exist in the same space-time continuum. But, we seem to have photographic
evidence that they did. Brigitte Bardot and Picasso are lookin’ mighty snappy together, no? What amazing photographs…

What are you doing New Year's Eve?*
Ahhhhhhhh… The pesky question that keeps popping up all week long before the big (and sometimes anti-climatic) event. What are you doing?
Me? I have two parties to hop to and a new sparkly top to debut. Fun times for sure!

Back in business...
Sorry about the break guys! My Key West Christmas was awesome despite some cold weather and strong winds (around 40 degrees and winds of up to 30 mph on Sunday). The beach was not even a prospect.
The weekend was really more about family dinners and playing silly games with nieces and nephews and watching how much my pregnant sister-in-law can eat. We enjoyed some really nice sunsets and...

Ladies who lunch...
Yesterday I spent the day in my old kate stomping grounds with my fantastic friend Stacey, who really knows what life is all about: food, friends, and love. We sat outside in the balmy 70 degree weather at Timpano’s in Fort Lauderdale and for over two hours we dined, dished and imbibed. (Do you see that second cork on the table? Oh my…) We ate steamed mussel after mussel, dipped...

Thank goodness it's Friday...
It’s not like my week was hectic by any means…I was sick, doing nothing for over half the week. Nevertheless, I’m still grateful for Friday. All is right with the world on a Friday, no?
Today, I’m off and running: shipping presents to my family in Oregon, grocery shopping, and I’ll check in on the garden to make sure my tomatoes haven’t given up on life...

Christmas in Margarita-ville...
I have Christmas with palm trees almost every year now. It’s really nothing new at this point. But this year, due to a wedding in the extended family, I will be in Key West for Christmas! The Man and I will drive down and stay on the Yellow Bird, a mighty-fine boat that is docked over at the Key West Yacht Club and enjoy some sun, sand and family for a couple of days. I promise, lots...

Not-so Norwegian wood...
Killer distressed walls? I think not. It’s wallpaper?!?! It kinda blew my mind this morning. Made by Piet Hein Eek in Holland, (henceforce the “not-so Norwegian” quip) with quite the variety of finishes. It’s definitely one of the coolest things that caught my eye recently…

Wanderlust...
Amy Merrick’s recent posts from her European travel extravaganza have given me a serious case of the travel blues. Amsterdam, Paris, Belgique: oh my! If you’re not familiar, check out her blog and see what she’s been up to.
(Just don’t blame me if you suddenly find yourself on a plane, ok?)
