So many pretty things...
so little time.  I’m so busy today my head is spinning.  But I do have just enough time to share some perfection with you.  Ballet pink open-work sweater with a citrus lemon skirt and some killer peep-toe booties.  Swoon! Hope you’re having a lovely Monday… Photo via J.Crew

Le weekend...
Happiness is Friday night.  Happiness is live music shared with friends.  Happiness is a picnic blanket and a bottle of wine. Happiness is the weekend.   Hope you all have a great one! Photo via tatielle

Pile it on...
I’m becoming that kind of girl.  You know…the kind that wears an armful of bangles and still puts rings on her fingers.  I never could do that before.  It hit me as “too much”*, but perhaps a fashion switch inside of me has flipped.  Perhaps its just growth.  A while back, I never did chunky necklaces and now I live in them.   But really, back to bracelets.  I’m...

I am in love.  Miu Miu love. Wearing them with wide-legged trousers love.  Wearing them with a maxi dress love.  And if someone can somehow manage to wear them like Bianca Jagger, well then, I love you too.   Photo via Neiman Marcus

Go see art?
It sounds simple: go see art.  But it can be rather complicated.  Who’s showing, where is it, how long is it running are all valid questions and can be tricky to find out, short of opening twenty different websites, four newspapers and making three phone calls to find out last minute things via word-of-mouth.  Phew. You’re probably exhausted and you haven’t even left the house...

At home...
From the woman who cuts a mean dress, we now have home wares.  Diane von Furstenberg spins an ever-perfect web of form and color, and sets a mean table.  (She does amazing linens too!)  I’m loving just about everything you see above, especially the yellow stoneware.  Enter here to have her give your home a make-over… (Swoon!) Week(end) update...
Friday came and went.  Saturday was just an off/bizarre/out-of-pocket day.  I’ve been squeezed for time.   Sunday, on the other hand, is as open and wonderful as a meadow in springtime and I am loving it. Hope you’re in the middle of a lovely weekend everyone! P.S. But, the one amazing thing I did…did you notice???? I finally got the dot com set up.  I’m grinning...

Seasonal treat... (or zig-zag love affair)
I’ve loved Missoni forever.  I remember drooling over it in Vogue when I was 16 (while wearing Doc Martins and flannels).  I remember practically salivating when I saw it in person for the first time while living in Europe.  The texture, the colors, those zig-zags: they get me every time.   So my new little habit is a M Missoni skirt at the end of each season. Crazy sale time.  I think...

Have a sweet weekend...
This weekend I’m down for rien á faire as the French say: nothing doing.  I will lounge.  I will read.  (new Tom Robbins book)  Perhaps I will launder.  Maybe I will bike.  Only lounging and reading are confirmed activities as of today.   Who knows… I might scrap all of this laziness business and go strawberry picking again. Whatever you do (or don’t do), have a great one!   ...

Here comes the sun...
With more sunny days around the corner, I’ve been on the hunt for a good pair of sunglasses.  The plan is to make them prescription so I don’t have to squint while driving home (a good way to make wrinkles, I’m pretty sure) or decide, “Should I wear my contacts today?  What’s my sun exposure going to be?”  (Big questions for someone who is still processing her...

On the brain...
A perfect symphony of soft cotton/linen, graphic stripes and baseball-ish cut.  I’m smitten and my ideal outfit would be capris, ballet flats and my favorite (for the moment) spring bag.  A lazy day alternative would be super faded denim, flips, a messy bun and big sunglasses.  $39.50 can bring a lot of smiles into my wardrobe… Photo via J.Crew

Sunday Drive...
The weather was just too gorgeous: so we hopped into the convertible and drove south. Dappled sunlight through the trees on Old Cutler Drive in South Miami… The sun on our faces and me in my granny visor… Burr’s Berry Farm out in the middle of the farmlands… Fields of ripe, red berries… Take home includes: Strawberries, tomatoes, eggplant and...

Did you know that every time you buy and Hérmes scarf you receive a Knotting Card?  These beautiful illustrated cards show you step by step how to create numerous looks and items (scarf purse or necklace anyone?).  Now sadly, I do not foresee a shopping trip to Hérmes in my future (unless I win the lotto*) - or multiple trips for that matter, as now you have to acquire the cards one by one  -...

Hip Happy Hooray Friday Everyone!
Who doesn’t love a Friday?  Not me!  It was like a big sigh of relief when I woke up this morning: the week has been so crazy that I am looking forward to doing absolutely nothing.  Wait, I do have plans…Stay cosy and lounge about.  Not bad for a to-do list, no? Hope that your weekend will be as equally as relaxing… P.S. What a gorgeous room, right?  Don’t you love...

Coffee run, Keys Style...
Baby’s Coffee, the southernmost roaster in the U.S. just happens to reside at about mile marker 14 on U.S. 1, about a 15 minute drive from Key West proper.  They roast some killer beans, serve up mucho cups of joe and espresso, plus many delectable goodies.  On our last day of the Christmas holiday, The Man and I decided to make a coffee run and hopped in the convertible for a quick...
