Sigh…  This dining room is just too-too.

A couple of things:

• The wall hanging on the wall is a boucherouite rug, super gorgeous.  But doesn’t it remind you of the old-school corny latch hook rug kits that you maybe did as a kid?  If you had an abstract painting that you loved, it might be easy to do in a latch hook fashion.  My brain is scrambling to try and figure something out.  It might be time to get out the paints and get inspired…
• Eames chairs in almost the perfect color yellow.  Yum.
• How’d they get such a beautiful flat, dark color on the wall?  Chalkboard paint.

I’ve posted this room before, and it’s too good to pass up a second time.  This room is simple, but powerful.  A couple of thoughts:

• The cloud artwork in the corner is DIY, which makes me wonder about the other artwork.  
• I love the eiffel chairs with the cozy sheepskins, a great contrast for the rough, rustic table.  
• The rug is a smidge too small, but perfect.  So what do you do? Pop it on top of a sea grass rug.  Clever!
• I love how their countertop is cluttered with appliances.  A lived in home…
