Let’s Discuss:

• Difficult denim to pull off, but she does it with aplomb.  The cuffs are wide, divine. Almost Annie Hall-esque, but modern.
• Prim cream button up, buttoned all the way up.  One might be temped to leave a button or two undone, but she refrained.
• If you look closely, the jacket not just brown, but a beautiful glen plaid.  Shoulders are slightly big, length a little long.  Borrowed from a boyfriend, perhaps?
• Hair lighter on the bottom - makes me think of long summers in the sun, not a bottle of dye.
• The visual definition of gamine?

Let’s discuss:

1.  Tangerine trousers.  Ok in my book any ol’ time of year.
2. High waist.  I’m not partial to too many people’s navels.
3. Is that a pale acid washed denim top I spy?  If so, kudos.
4. The cobalt bag is perfection. (or is it Klein Blue?)
5. Sneakers is normally a four letter word in my book, but those white and blue sneaks are killin’ it! (And if they’re Nikes, you get bonus points from this Oregon girl)

Let’s discuss:

1. This couch has been on the back burner of my brain since I first saw it.  Stunning. Memorable. Those things apply.  

2. Not to belittle the artist’s/textile designer’s work, but wouldn’t this make an AMAZING project? (Just thowin’ that out there…)

3. Those walls are an incredible color blue.  Not quite, but so close to Klein Blue.

4. Why oh why does peeled paint look charming/appropriate in photographs but in real life it screams neglect?

It’s the bag that stole my heart.  Can’t you just imagine yourself walking down the sidewalk, tassels swinging, coffee in hand, a spring in your step?  Sonia Rykiel has officially killed me.
