Two thousand dandelions were painstakingly plucked, sprayed with adhesive and loaded into a custom-made wooden transporter so they could be brought to a gallery and hung from the ceiling in a surreal installation by Regine Ramseier. The work was created as part of ArToll Summer Lab 2011.

The ultimate fashion “power couple”. If this hasn’t made the Tumblr-rounds, I’d be really surprised…
While perusing Art Hound this morning I came across these pieces by Sofia Arnold. They have a dreamy, other-worldly quality to them, yet have vignettes that show actions from day to day life. (The green beans on the table are my favorite) And I love how she chose colored pencil (beautiful colors at that!) and nail polish as her medium. Who hasn’t made a little picture using a drop of nail polish or two?
