The weather has been beyond perfect. (Perhaps the only nice thing that Sandy ever did for anyone) Golden and sunny, with blue skies. Warm during the day, sweater weather with a crackling fire at night. The Man and I took advantage of all this day-time gorgeousness and went to the beach this weekend, where I knocked the following things off my “vacation” to-do list:
It was a perfect afternoon.
Friday is here again, and I can’t help but think that time flies. Halloween is Sunday and it seems like Thanksgiving and the holidays are right around the corner. (Or so it feels…)
Tonight is family dinner and then this weekend, work and pumpkin carving are both on the menu, maybe with an extra dose of laziness thrown in: my beach day yesterday knocked me out!

Ah, it’s Friday again. The weekend is just beginning. Many lovely things can happen. Life is good on Friday, don’t you agree?
I’m down for some Miami Beach Bumming, Birthday Party Shakin’ (Happy Birthday my lovely neighbor Laura!) and probably some Hang-Over Nursing.
Hopefully not a stitch of yardwork will be done.
