I’m a girl. And sometimes I wish I could do girly things, like rock some cat eye eyeliner, á la Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany’s. But I’m allllll elbows when it comes to those things.
Enter most genius eye liner tutorial that was ever created. The trick? Scotch tape. I think I’m in heaven…

The ever impeccable Lauren Conrad has teamed up with her make-up artist and hair stylist to form a wonderful beauty blog called The Beauty Department. They touch on a little of everything: hair how-to’s, best of product lists (i.e. brushes, curling irons, eyeshadows, etc.) and make-up tips. Whether you’re a beginner or a whiz with the blow-dryer, I think you’re bound to find something you like.
For me? I am in love with this side-pony-knot-thing. My hair has waaaay to much texture to try and pull this off, but I am dreaming nonethelesss.
