This is a snapshot of my future: The Man and I agreed that the next kitchen we do, it’s carrera marble counters alltheway. Also, I’m quite certain that Vélo will beef up into a little rolly-polly, just like our fine feline friend on the counter. (After all, he does get a mini bowl of cream every morning)

The sky is black, the cats are all inside, I am still in my pajamas and it is going to rain. Technically it is rainy season, but you could fool me: we haven’t seen a drop. They have finally projected rain for today through Sunday! My plants will be so happy!
I have indoor activities planned for the rest of the day (laundry laundry laundry) and can’t wait to hear rain on the roof…
This room has so many good things going for it: the butterfly picture, those perky orange flowers poppies, that general warm, cozy feeling you feel just from looking at the picture (let alone hanging out!). But, I really gotta say, the best thing is that furry, puffy cat sneaking across the yellow and cream carpet.

*Please note the Man would be quick to say that one dog, two cats and a wife are quite enough. Thing are pretty equal around here, even in the pain in the tush category!
