I’ll take the poof any day, but it’s the couch that really makes me swoon.
(Perhaps because it is the antithesis of mine)

The Real Deal…

If you’ve been around here long enough, you know I have a problem with rugs. Not that I buy a ton of them, but more along the lines of…how do I put it? I fall in love easily.
If rugs were boys, I’d be a serial dater. Shameful and strange, but true.
That said, I think I’ve finally found the real deal. Something I can live with. Something the vibes perfectly with everything I already own. Something that looks fuzzy and soft.

A sneak peek inside Deborah Needleman’s The Perfectly Imperfect Home. Illustration by Virginia Johnson.
I’ve posted this room before, and it’s too good to pass up a second time. This room is simple, but powerful. A couple of thoughts:
- The cloud artwork in the corner is DIY, which makes me wonder about the other artwork.
- I love the eiffel chairs with the cozy sheepskins, a great contrast for the rough, rustic table.
- The rug is a smidge too small, but perfect. So what do you do? Pop it on top of a sea grass rug. Clever!
- I love how their countertop is cluttered with appliances. A lived in home…
