I’ve posted this room before, and it’s too good to pass up a second time. This room is simple, but powerful. A couple of thoughts:
- The cloud artwork in the corner is DIY, which makes me wonder about the other artwork.
- I love the eiffel chairs with the cozy sheepskins, a great contrast for the rough, rustic table.
- The rug is a smidge too small, but perfect. So what do you do? Pop it on top of a sea grass rug. Clever!
- I love how their countertop is cluttered with appliances. A lived in home…

Clean your room…
As a child, I (and I’m sure you too) was told many many times to clean my room. I would dig in, then get distracted re-arranging the knick-knacks in my bookshelves or get lost in my dollhouse. I’m still told to clean my room. Seriously. The guest room is mine (it holds my closet, etc) , and it gets pretty disorganized.
But now I don’t feel so bad to be a sometimes messy adult: the above room belongs to the oh-so-fabulous Sofia Coppola. (Wow-za!)
