I always wondered where I could get those old school jump ropes, just like I used to use in grade school. Wonder no more… Kiosk has them.
They rock.

KIOSK is back from India, and has some gorgeous items in their shop. The trip was obviously inspiring, each description reads like a little poem.
The Kulfi spoons (above) are my favorite. Kulfi is basically Indian ice cream, and the little spoons look like permanent versions of those cute plastic single serve spoons that are, well, plastic.
It’s all about the little things, no?

I do think that one of the best parts of traveling is shopping. That snow-globe you just purchased? It’s a small piece of [insert country/city you just visited here] and you get to take it home. Ok, tacky snow-globes aside…there are some really cool things out there, but sadly one cannot always leave home and flit about the globe, or even fit everything into your suitcase. My friends, meet Kiosk.

The Kiosk team travels around the world handpicking items and selling them in their shop. They have an ongoing selection, things that are so awesome that they just can’t live without them (like the above mesh dome, so much better than the crappy ones you can pick up, ohhhh, just about anywhere). Also, on a regular basis they showcase items from a particular country. Right now they are focusing on Iceland, and it’s all candy (lots of licorice, yum!), but they’ve done places like Germany, Mexico and most recently Portugal. All items are picked for their uniqueness, durability and often, packaging. (Which for me is the retail holy trinity)

So, no need to book a hotel room, rent a car, get a train pass, find cute walking shoes, all that jazz. Stay at home for once, ok? You’re covered…
