Vacation album… (part three)

Shots from around the hotel…as I couldn’t stop snapping pictures. (Silly tourist)
Vacation album… (part one)

Despite having lived in Miami for almost nine years, I had never been to the West coast of Florida, so since I had some spare time between jobs, a trip was arranged. The recently renovated Postcard Inn was going to be our temporary home in the laid-back town of St. Pete Beach. We arrived (and checked-in) just in time to catch the sunset. It was straight to the beach for us!
Home again…

I have been non-existent for the past week. For all you who pop by on a regular basis, I do apologize that I haven’t been around. It was just, impossible.
Last week at the end of my vacation, I became sick, as sick as I’ve been in years. Then after barely recuperating, I launched full-throttle into my new job. What a week…
I am tired. I am worn-down. But, I am getting better and best of all, I’m home. Drinking tea, listening to the Beatles, and sitting in the yard watching the sun go down. Home.
Have a great weekend everyone, and we’ll be back to normal next week!
Afternoon in pictures…

Went thrifting. The magnifying thing-a-ma-jig is absolutely amazing. $3.95 - it’s quite the steal…

One large black glass head? Yes, please. (Sticker still attached: $19.95)

A neighbor brought me a small truck-load of loquats. I am in fruit heaven.
To Start Anew…

Today, my friends, is my last day as a personal stylist. Not for forever, mind you, but as a “job”. I’m moving back to boutique life, back to management and on to a new company! I can’t wait to start work: I’m partnering up with a long-time, wonderful, crazy friend of mine and I know that our little team is just going to blossom and prosper!
The company I’m moving to? Well, I won’t specifically say, as I like to keep business separate from blogging, but I will give you some hints. It is an up-scale, accessories boutique that is originally based in Manhattan, and sells all thing girly and wonderful. I’ll let you figure it out on your own…
One last thing to put out into the universe: thank you to all my clients! To those who tried new things, to those who learned new tricks, to those who taught tricks and to those who opened their hearts to me. (That’s better than anything I could ever put in my bank account.)
