Emerson Fry* seems to flutter perfectly in-between uptown prep and beach goddess hippie. (which is my favorite combo of all time) All the pieces look timeless - of the moment, but could be vintage - and are decidedly not cookie-cutter-straight-out-of-the-J.Crew-catalogue.
I’m going through a white shirt moment right now (as in, you can never have too many) and this silk tuxedo shirt fits the bill. The drape is insane and while I love the white on white look, I would pop some crazy colored trousers underneath this, throw on some heels and call it day. That my friends, is the beauty of a white shirt: we all wear it differently.

On my Christmas wishlist.
They have it styled in the catalogue with denim, a maroon jacket and a seriously gorgeous vachetta tote. Perfect for a winter afternoon. But I envision it Miami style: pale pink capris, seriously high heels and delightful vintage straw clutch. It makes me think of spring, soft nights, a walk down Lincoln Road with the ocean breeze at my back…
